Anyone every use saran wrap when heading for narrow trails for paint protection? Seems like it would be a cheap and quick solution for those that unexpectedly or infrequently encounter tight trails like myself who cant afford or don't want an actual PPF.

Will now work. If you want something cheap, and removable for paint protecting check out Xpel Tracwrap

I would recommend a good ceramic wax. It won't stop the scratches, but it makes them easier to deal with later. After each Baja run on my Raptor, it definitely had some battle scars. A good buffer, and a couple of hours later, most were completely gone.

I guess it would work. Painters tape is the best choice.
