I have ppf but there’s the mek magnet panels that’s cheaper. The one for the bronco has a tacky adhesive (not magnetic) that you’ll need to rinse and put away after every use. A you can only use it x amount of times though before it doesn’t stick anymore.

Just having this very same discussion with myself (and now you and other forum folks) about this, including the matte wrap.
Ohhhh, matte gray with some CYBER ORANGE accent stripes would be legit. Y'know, since I didn't get the CO.

I had PPF installed right after purchase on both sides about as high as the badge, 13 months ago. Then installed zero offset alloys that combined with tires gave about an inch more poke on each side. To cover the add, I switched to Squatch flares, they covered the tread perfectly.

After 17000 miles, the only area of rash is the leading edge of the rear flares. My paint is as new, and the PPF looks like it did on day 1.

It cost me $400 for the PPF and given Fords thinnest paint job, was worth every penny.

My understanding is that the Bronco doors are aluminum, so the magnets won’t stick, but let us know how it goes.
Well that was not expected. That explains the tin can sound 😂

I've got a full XPEL PPF, and it's protected mine from some decent sized branches a few times.
However, I also bring a little tree trimmer with me for anything that would just be stupid to drive through.
I don't need to scratch my truck for others to know I take it off-road, because I don't really care what they think. I'm having plenty of fun, and protecting my $60k toy.

If you want trail rash, first see how happy you'd be dragging keys down the side of your truck. If you wouldn't do that intentionally, why let the trees do it for you? 😉

Bump.
Any wheelers with PPF have real world trail experience to share.
