maybe in 3-4 years for my son or an extra truck or vehicle. We shall see but interested to learn more.

Agreed. It's been said by Scout Motors that the initial SUV will be a 4 door due to the size of the battery. I seems they may be following the FJ Cruiser idea of a 4 door that looks like a 2 door.Interesting roof design, almost makes it look like it's a separate panel from the C-Pillar, wonder if it will be a convertible or if that's just a styling cue. Looks like they've really dressed up the SUV to look like a 2-Door as well which is pretty nice.
As someone who looks at a $60k price tag for any vehicle and shudders, an EV's limitations still keep me out of the market, especially for an "adventure vehicle". Mostly, that I can't confidently do a Baja trip or head deep out into BLM land for a week (admittedly, both 1% use cases for me), keeps them hard to want. They lost me at EV!
I feel the range and charging concerns. That Jeep Recon has my eye though.EVs and offroaders are like Mayo filled donuts
I'd be willing to have one EV in the house. Had two scouts, a '67 and a '75. As long as there's headroom. Don't lower the roof for aerodynamics so much that there's no headroom and no glass to see out of.
Looking very much Rivianesque!
