Seatbelt connected wiring...diagram?

Those that have done the Goosegear (or DIY) rear seat delete, it looks like the solution for having the occupant seat sensor removed is to remove the belt receiver from the seat and buckle it together and hide it under the floor??

Clearly, the occupant sensor is just a pressure/reed switch that gets opened (opened, not closed because this is how the module knows when it is unplugged?).

Would the actual buckle switch be an open contact that gets closed? Couldn't the leads be shorted to accomplish this?

For the rear seats on 5dr the occupant warning is triggered by the doors being opened (software controlled,and the rh front has a occupant classification sensor.the rear belts are a normally open sensor that closes circuit when latched(i remember they used to sell a belt minder defeater that just latched into the buckle on amazon years ago)

Gotta be more to it...unless opening any door on the 2 door accomplishes the same thing. 🤷

FORscan IPC... 720-01-01.. all seats belts can be disabled.. driver seat and passenger seat also... your choice
