It required a big tire kit from 4wp. Which the local shop was unaware of so they ate it.Looks good, any issues with the crash bars?

My 11 year old black Lincoln still gets mistaken for brand new. I guess it's all about how you wash it. It's never seen a carwash.I have a Shadow Black F150. NEVER AGAIN....impossible to keep clean....looks like shit in the sun with all the swirls in the clear coat. It will look good for a few months after you buy it, but it is all downhill from there. Strongly advise you go with another color.
Some people just pick colors that require the least amount of effort. Some other people realize that results reflect effort and don't shy away from it.My Dad always told me , Nothing looks better than a clean black car , and nothing looks worse than a dirty one . It always stuck with me and at 48 years old I've still never owned a black vehicle .
Good to know I'm at stock ride height right now and I was going to try and put 285s onIt required a big tire kit from 4wp. Which the local shop was unaware of so they ate it.
Yeah these are cool. I was hoping they came in different colors.Love the stripes. Very retro, i need those!
Would I be wrong if I assumed you keep your black Lincoln in a garage? My black truck sits outside. Gets dirty the day after I wash it and it's a whole lot of metal to wash. Nothing to do with work ethic. Some people just pick colors that require the least amount of effort. Some other people realize that results reflect effort and don't shy away from it.
To each their own
I’m unexpectedly fully on board with the Iconic Silver BD I fell into. We’ll see what 2023 has to offer. Not excited about 22 color announcements. Reservation is currently 99 while I enjoy this one.I have a Shadow Black F150. NEVER AGAIN....impossible to keep clean....looks like shit in the sun with all the swirls in the clear coat. If you can, get a paint correction and ceramic coating. Maintenance-wise, here’s a quick, high-level summary of what I do. Look up Chemical Guys or Adams for products…Question for you all. What methods and products do you use to keep black vehicles looking sharp. Is it waxing? If so how often? I’m a noob at black car maintenance and would appreciate any advice. Thanks
Keep it in a garage.....if you keep it outside it will be dirty the next day.If you can, get a paint correction and ceramic coating. Maintenance-wise, here’s a quick, high-level summary of what I do. Look up Chemical Guys or Adams for products…
- Never wash in direct sunlight. Always in the shade.
- Foam, rinse
- 2-bucket wash with grit guards and microfiber wash mitts, rinse
- Microfiber drying towels and blower

Ceramic coating will help kind of expensive to have done, cheaper to do it yourself but it might be worth having a professional do it. It's on my list of things to doQuestion for you all.
