Pickens Party of 5 installed the Bodyguard step sliders. Here's their YouTube installation where they have some good angles of the finished product.

I have the GoRhino D6 steps on mine, very happy here as well. Originally I had planned for the DS or DSS as they don't stick out quite so far, but someone on here talked me into these. If you have sasquatch the outside of the bar lines up pretty close with the outside of your fender flares.

Swapping them back out is a solid 45 minutes worth of work, maybe an hour if you take your time. Its one of those thing you say you're gonna do I think :)

One of my first mods. How long did it take to install? Was it difficult? I am a novice at best so trying to understand what I am in store for.

I installed mine earlier this week. For the most part they are easy. I struggled since I did it by myself and had no floor Jack's that would have really helped. There is a bracket that you have to slide into the rail and it's a pain in the ass. But it's doable I did it so can you

Thanks. I think they switched the measurements for the DS and DSS.
Well, I'm looking at this again, I WANT the 2.5" stepping surface (the slimmer one), so now I need to see what I ordered. Online pics of the DS do seem slimmer.

I went with go rhino DSS, which they advertise as working as a rock rail too

I think they have the perfect amount of “stick out”, more than a slider but not as much as like the D6.

Here’s a pic (not my bronco)

Do these protect against door dings? Anyone know where they are made?

Call me crazy, but I installed Ford's Bronco tube steps on my 4Dr BaseSquatch. Six bolt install on each side. No sub assembly. Dealer got them in one day. Says "Bronco" on it. I like stock!

From rocks thrown by the wheels? I have had a mine a total of 2 days lol but did some offroading yesterday and I did hear rocks hitting the rails. And they have caught a lot of mud as well but still some on the doors of course. Have the extreme dss

Door dings, I’m asking if they stick out enough to keep some idiot from swinging their door into the side of your Bronco.

D6 definitely does and matches up very well to the distance the fender flares on the sasquatch pkg stick out.

@zedster , Any more pictures of the zroadz from a bit farther back? Seems like very few options currently in production for 2 doors...
How are these?
