My wife had trouble getting into the Bronco, so I plan to get the Rock Slide Engineering rock rail steps. Both a strong rock slider and a good step. Not cheap, but the they won't bend like the Go Rhino steps are likely to do if actually up against rocks on the trail.

A coworker of mine talked me out of them, the ones on his Jeep no longer function, and are rusting like crazy. Perhaps he abused them, but I'm blowing enough cash on the vehicle I'm going to keep my steps simple.

Still can’t beleave no one has made a set of steps that slide over the rock sliders to sell yet. There’s tons of us waiting to throw money on a decent set

I know @EIGHTLUG will come through. He actually mentioned he’s gonna try and get started on it this weekend. Only took him about a month to design the BYOD rail and he’s already taking preorders and will have some ready for SEMA!

I have cactus grey so it really doesn't show scratches. I never really paid attention so I just ordered my son to go out and climb up. Here you go.... Yes he does step there but no I don't really have any scratches.

I got my Bronco Aug 6 and it sees a lot of school trips.

Thanks, appreciate it. You all must be loving it! I get mine in December. Kinda messed up that it will be a year old in a week 21 vs 22. But at least I’ll join the club. Thanks for the info and pics !!!!

I like the look of the DSS, not as wide as D6.
I have used go rhino products in the past and no complaints . I dont plan on bashing them on big rocks. I do mostly sand and fire roads. they are just for the kids basically. There is 2 1/2” of step.

I’ll use mine the same way, plus looking for one that will provide door ding protection. Looks sharp!

I ordered a set of the DSS and will run them until something better comes along. Something along the line of the FunHaver Bronco, whenever they become available. Have fun out there.

They are not as beefy as OEM but give the kids something to step on besides the sill.

Great looking Rig!! Im curious how you are liking the Go Rhino DSS steps? also do you have any other pics ? Im leaning that way just need to be convinced. I hate the mud flap choices and my rocker panels are getting peppered. I live 3 miles up a dirt road in VT.

thanks

I found the picture. He said that the stock rock rails stay on and these get mounted on the same seam that the rails are bolted into.

Any more info on these side steps? Like the ones from EightLug, but thinking these maybe better as they have more of a drop down than the eightlug ones....

Sorry, no I don't. I saw another option advertised today but the price seemed pretty steep.

Can you point me to the post? I am curious which part# was used for the Carr Hoop II in the photo. Each one uses a different mounting bracket and I want to cut out the guesswork
