Need help with part number for the lower bolt and nut for bottom shock to A arm. As I have easily learned the hard way. This is prone to damage. I’m guessing this is also pressed to the shock? Was thinking I could do this myself. But maybe nut, not.

i recently replaced mine with new coilovers. Mine was pressed into shock. Youll need to drop lower control arm at frame side to get it out. Also will need an alignment after that. Dont take axle nut off to do this job unless you want to risk replacing the axle . Hammering the axle out of knuckle is risky.. I would leave it alone if its just a cosmetic thing.

I only read the thread title but same thing happened to me back in '19 while surfing. Somehow I fell wrong and smacked it on the water. Swelled up like a grapefruit, but was fine by the time I got home. ;)
Doesn’t look like this swelling is going away anytime soon. Maybe the difference between hitting water vs. hitting something more rock like!

What kind of place do you think this is, we're supposed to help you get your nuts off? I'm sure @604Bronco can recommend a better site for that.

A lot of the lifts/leveling kits use new bolts that aren't anything special, I'd just run to the hardware store. And point them up this time.

I’d first try splitting the nut and then chase the threads with a thread die. Put a new nut on and then stay out of the water!

All press is good press! Just know I sell out of a virtual tent, so don't get too excited.

I don’t think there’s a part number for that.
