We’re staying up late to complete the fitting of the prototype. I’ll do my best to share content over the weekend as I test it out. Say hello and check it out if you see me on the roads.

Thanks,
Derick

This is definitely a prototype, but the concept is pretty darn sound. We’re going to drop down the whole system a few inches, but we projected safely. I’m impressed with the component weight. Here they are so far:

-Front Mount: 25 Lbs
-Basket: 60 Lbs
-Rear Mount/Tower: 64 Lbs
-800 Weight Capacity still very possible.

I’ll be working on the wind noise today (there will be an air dam as well) and we’ll test it more. I’m excited in the progress from concept to a physical roof rack.

Thanks,
Derick

See if you can design the front mounting so that light bars that normally would use the stick mounting holes could still be used. And might help with wind noise.

Already there. We will reach out to light developers to see if we can get sizing to offer predrilled front mounts for their light dimensions. That way, the front mount can light bars, spotlights, etc.

Rear mount and tower is 640 pounds? I'm hoping that's a typo and it's actually 64 pounds.😉

Cool discovery today…Soft top owners will have full access to “position2” if you remove the basket. You can literally be up in the mountains, take off the basket , and go have a blast. Below you’ll see the basket test; that’s 1000 lbs jumping on the basket! We’ll be redesigning portions to lower the whole system down, and to create a more attractive front…but know this is going as planned. Thanks for your patience.
