As someone with no off-roading experience. Do you really need a sway bar disconnect if you do not plan on doing any rock-crawling? I am asking because I am leaning towards the wildtrak, mainly because of looks and I would like to do some trails, except for those with large rocks.

It really comes down to how important the wash out interior and front disconnect is to you.
With the options you want on the BL, buying a WT instead will be cheaper.
Whoa......sounds like common sense?

I too would go with the Wildtrack but for me its the floors. Who puts carpet in a Bronco?!?! Why? I think carpet in any car is basically dumb because it goes to hell the minute you drive off the lot. If they have non-carpet as an option with the Wildtrack, I will immediately bump.
One word... WeatherTech

Seems fairly reasonable to me. Even so, I don't think the Badlands necessarily needs Sasquatch.
If the website is any indication, 33 and 35"mudders are an option.
But again, a lot of the listed options are part d packages.

At this point, the only reasons to stick with Badlands if you are going to get Sasquatch is the sway bar disconnect, marine grade vinyl seats and rubber floors. Everything else can be had on both models.

If none off the Badlands exclusive options interest you, then by all means go for whichever one you get a better deal on.

Personally, I will be adding the 2.7L in my two door no matter what. I would hate to get the 2.3L (I would stay manual for this) and regret not having more power later. I know the 2.3L should be just fine, but I would rather spend the money now than wish I had later.
There's the steel modular powder coated bumpers, and Heavy Duty bash plates on Badlands that the Wildtrak doesn't have standard as well. The Wildtrak has plastic bumpers. Those plastic bumpers would have to go!

33" MTs are an option on Badlands. The 35" MTs come with sasquatch

I'm more a trail runner than a rock crawler. I was initially thinking hard-core off roading but I'd rather be more sensible.
If the WT had front sway bar disco, I'd get the WT.
On my 5th Gen 4Runner I removed the front sway bar for a few months and there was a vast improvement off road and on high speed desert stuff. On road it was too sketchy for me w/o it.
I'm no rock crawler and the SBD is a must for me and I am not interested in after market for this item.

Edit; I forgot to mention the rock rails. No standard rock rails on the Wildtrak. It all depends on what you want the vehicle to be? Comfy DD fuel efficient mall crawler. Or an Off-road capable Beast? If you want the Beast option out a Badlands.

It's gonna be both... DD and a yearly get away vehicle for 2 or 3 weeks at a time. Long range, NA overlander...

Want the 2.3L (just a 2 door)
Want auto
Want mod too ONLY if it had removable glass
And want 35's
The money spent on the BL is better spent I think, for me...
B&P will tell

Then I think you'd be better off with the Badlands. Keep the 2.3L. MT or Auto, your preference. No real need for Squatch? 33" K02'S should be fine, and will give you better fuel efficiency. Just my 2 cents. You make the best choices for you. Have fun!

Need some help here. What wheel comes with the squatch package?

I built a sasquatch package Badlands and Wildtrak and I prefer the black beadlock wheels the Wildtrak appears to have. Once I built the Badlands with the 35's, it had a black beadlockwheel with the carbonized gray ring around the outside.

Wasn't the squatch package just for the black beadlock wheels or is it depending on the trim/model now?

Thx all!
