Soft top broken tabs

If anyone else has had the Ford dealership put in the rivets can they send pictures today? If mine is wrong I would like to take it back to the dealer today before traveling tomorrow.

So we just picked our bronco up today from getting several tsb’s done. The tabs/rivets being one. Ours looks exactly like yours, and I know this can’t be right. In a few months to a year, that protrusion is going to wear right through the top. I hope more people can post pics of their rivet fix to show this is wrong. Besides yours, the others I’ve seen are much smoother, so don’t appear like they’d rub through like ours will. Please post update if they fix yours.

Ok just got mine back from Mulinax Ford Palm Beach and the second trip got the latest update from Ford. See pictures but this is way better look than the previous fix. Thanks to them for staying on Ford to get a better resolution.

Thanks, wish I could take the credit, but it was @Stripes136 who posted the video.
I DID however repair my own using a printed-off copy of the TSB as a guide.
Fairly nervous drilling into the plastic and all but it worked out like a charm.

Thank you for the clarification and info. And yes thank you @Stripes136 for the video. Yeah they are working on a sensor issue on mine for the last two weeks. I asked them to look at this for me. I have two broken tabs. I do not think they are going to address it so I will take this option as well.

This just happened to me yesterday. I wasn't even trying to take the top off. I noticed it when i got out of the car. I think it may have happened when i propped up the top to put something in the trunk. Maybe when i put it back down. I'm taking it to the dealer Tues.

Big Jack, Can you post a pic of what happened to yours. My wife coming back now from vacation. Said her side window clips are broke on both sides?

Are the tabs on the back seam on the side windows? Mine did not come with any tabs and the passenger side window continuously pops open when driving over 50 mph.

I broke a couple of mine. I glued it with 3m black trim adhesive. Lasted so far .
