Hey everyone, I bought a Wildtrak so it has a soft top, but I wanted the soft top option for the summer. Just bought one off someone and neither of us are too sure of the hardware that comes with it.

The main items in question are these brackets and the 13mm bolts that affix it to the cargo area.

Anyone have any info on screw measurements and where I might be able to buy these brackets (their part numbers or what they are called would be a huge help!)

The brackets are part of the hard top prep kit.

Are the large brackets in your last pic not attached to the soft top frame?

i can measure the bolts for you as I have them sitting in a ziplock bag after I swapped the oem top for the bestop.

i think the longer brackets are already attached, that’s where the hard top locks in. It’s the smaller brackets that in position 1 the soft top clicks into that I don’t have. Is there a soft top prep kit?

yes, if you could get the measurements of those bolts I’d be eternally grateful!

I also just purchased a soft top from another member here. The long brackets are already on your Bronco but you’ll need the short brackets over the rear seats. I think these bolt down with the same bolts used on the hard top. You’ll also need the two clips that hood down the rear base of the soft top that allow for the tilt up function. I need to go to the hardware store and get the six 13 mm bolts for the soft top frame. They’re the same size as the other hardtop torx head bolts (M8 1.25).

I think all of the hardware can be left installed under the hard top also making the swap even faster the next time.

This Is everything needed except for the 6 bolts.

You sir are an f'n lifesaver! Thank you, this is incredibly helpful! One question, are the two trim pieces in the first image already under the hard top or do I need to source those as well?

I haven't removed my hard top yet so I'm not sure. I doubt they are though. I've watch a couple videos on YouTube and they weren't on theirs. I'd plan on buying them.

If it’s possible I would get ahold of who you bought it from. All these brackets are of no use to someone with a hard top or the best top trek top. So it should not be a huge deal to get them as well.

Thanks for reminding me about this thread. I now have pretty much all I need for the soft top. The part number for the brackets is M2DZ-7829452-A

Still have the bolts and would you part with them? I am looking for OEM Soft Top parts. Thanks!

If someone was going from a soft top to a hard top, do you know if there are extra parts you'll need?

If you have the Hard Top Prep Kit from the factory, that's all you will need to convert to a Hard Top.
