Ah, well don't watch any bear tree climbing video then. An RTT just gives a bear a better view once he's pickin' his teeth clean of your clothing...
And it was harder for you to get out the other side while he was coming in!

Beautiful night in Colorado for hammock camping.
Clicked because I thought it might be an interior hammock set-up; I used to hammock camp *inside* of my D90 (and boy that was a tight fit!). I couldn't figure out a good way to do it in my G-Wagen that replaced the D90, so I'd kind of forgotten the idea. Your video and the Bronco's cage structure has me thinking about the interior hammock again.

Cool set-up, BTW.

Was your attempt to make an ASMR vid?!?! Made the mistake of watching this at work . Well done sir, very peaceful and calming!
Yes, I wanted to capture the visuals and sounds of solo camping. I'm not against talking but I typically don't say much when camping by myself. I appreciate the kudos and I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I'll plan on creating more content like this moving forward and hope folks will enjoy watching them.

Nice. Now that I finally have a Bronco I'm gearing up (literally) to start creating similar content.
Congrats. Post your YT channel info and I'll keep an eye out for your adventures.

Click here for hammocking inside the Bronco. Building a platform for a mattress is also another option for sleeping inside the Bronco. Happy camping!

Didn't know there was a spout like that for the rotopax water, I'll have to grab one of those.
Looks like a great night!
There are DIY solutions out there but at this price point (yes, it's slightly more expensive) the GoWesty spout was a no brainer. It's doesn't leak and works exactly as advertised.

how very zen camping can be,but you almost looked sad,not looking forward to going home?
It was peaceful and I didn't mean to look sad. I guess my way of meditation/self reflection makes me look a bit sad. :)

Tire plug kit, spare complete valve stems and an air compressor + bear spray and a Desert Eagle.
There is nothing to worry about.
I've repaired punctures with the plug kit and sprayed in fix o flat, added air and moved along.
Where he is it's highly doubtful he will gash a sidewall.
I also carry a Zoleo satellite communicator and Katadyn BeFree 1L water filter at all times. I do my best to assess the risks and bring what I feel is essential for the trip.

That's a great question and my solution is to carry the ARB's tire plug/repair kit and air compressor ILO carrying my spare in the rear storage area. I typically do not carry my spare for day to day in town driving and chose to not bring it on this trip as I'm very familiar with the area, it is highly trafficked, and most importantly it is less than a hour from my house. I will always have my spare for moderate to serious off-roading/rock crawling where I'm venturing deeper into the backcountry and further away from home.

A screen grab from footage that I ended up not using shows the grey box (ARB single compressor) and it's hard to make out but the black round soft case at the bottom is my MORRFlate inflator kit which I've featured in other videos and not pictured is the ARB tire repair kit which in the storage area underneath.

Ok, how much dust ended up in the interior? Just did some mild gravel off-roading with the doors off and it got everywhere

Very little. That being said, I've done multiple days of wheeling with the doors off in Moab so I might have a slightly higher threshold.

Have you tried a 2nd setup using a front receiver hitch?

Give your trail buddy a place for their hammock.

I like the versatility that a front hitch offers with for receiver mounted winches and putting a tow hook upfront so you can nose a trailer into a tight spot.

That would be super cool and I wouldn’t mind having the option of deploying the hammock at the front of the rig. The challenge would be finding a place to either weld or bolt on a hitch receiver.

I plan is to leave the front as is until @Lobo Off-Road releases a solution for the hidden winch skid plate/bumper. Adding a winch is a top priority as it’ll allow me explore solo deeper into the backcountry.

Thank you for the support, we are diligently working on the products and hope to be to market soon!!
