I picked up the IAG brake light extension bracket the other day. Dropped the spare and found that my SASQ ‘22 Black Diamond has a different hole pattern on the spare tire mount than the IAG bracket and the mount shown in the instructions and video.

Does anyone know if the SASQ vs. non-SASQ have a different hole pattern?

I ended up re-drilling the aluminum spare mount rather than the steel relocation bracket to make it work.

Doesn't even fit if you use top two hole instead of bottom 2? Looks close.

Yes. SAS has different hole placement than non-sas.

It’s these holes. They are 90 degrees off. The bracket slides down behind the carrier but there is some corner webbing which won’t allow it to go down to the next set of holes.

Yeah there are two different spare carrier mounts depending on if you have Sasquatch or not. The IAG bracket is only compatible with the standard mount.

Here is the DV8 extension, which is compatible with both.

Thanks for the link and reply. I am trying to figure out how to mount my 37” spare and it is giving me trouble.

It does say not with Sasquatch on their website, but you’ve got to look pretty hard to find it.

Didn’t see it. My bad. But that’s what this forum is for, right? I guess I should have asked before rather than after…

The info is there, but buried, like they don’t want you to see it. It should be front and center what models it’s actually for.

I think you missed the part where I said there is webbing back there that will not allow that.
