Personally i am not interested in a V8. Fords ECO Boost motors, 2.7, 3.0 and the 3.5 all outperform the 5.0. What is the upside?
Upside is customers want them (including Jeep customers, who have been begging for years and because of the Bronco, Jeep is apparently developing one), and they're more durable and easier to work on. If you want to compete with Jeep and Jeep is working on one...

On the other hand, I have seen ZERO indication that Ford has expressed ANY interest in putting a V8 in a Bronco. Fanboy sites like this notwithstanding, every indication is they will put a bigger Eco-boost motor in any premium model.

Spotted a Bronco this morning... stopped and talked to the guys to see if I could get pictures. This is the only one I could get. Thoughts...?

Edit: it's wearing F-150 Raptor wheels, larger front brakes, lift kit, BFG KO2 tires.
Did they mention the lift kit and larger brakes or is this your impression?

Let us also not forget, the body panel modularity. Things are subject to change. I heard through the grape vine. More weight shedding was on the agenda for the "raptor" version. To offest other weight gains. Some things beefed up, other using potentially "exotic" materials. Take that with a grain of salt.

Ford just want to get us distracted from the BnP due by September.

I'm hoping it is a Bronco Raptor, hopefully they offer it in 2-door and with the 3.5 ecoboost!

It's not fair to tease us with a Warthog (kickass name) while we're still waiting on standard gear. A 3.5L ecoboost in the Bronco would be so sweet. With the low gearing and 4WD, it will launch like a Porsche Turbo.
? I'd much rather they stuck with the RAPTOR branding ?

What do we suppose the bar is under the body behind the front wheel? Possible control arm for SFA? It looks a little wimpy for that, maybe a strut for the IFS? I can't say I noticed that part on an other Broncos.
