Anyone know where exactly does Ford say getting the 4.7 is a free upgrade on BL?You can get the BL AT 4.7 without squatch. Its a free upgrade.

will be doing manual so the 4.7 works. I do like the way the concept sits. Is this what you were referring to? I love these wheels. Although rubbing might be a concern?

Have you seen the Overland build in person? (The area 51 in the photo). I have. IMO those wheels look stuffed under there. The bronco sat lower than I feel like it should, and there was not a lot of room between tire and wheel well. I would be really concerned about rubbing. I looked at it at Super Cel East. Ford rep I spoke with said it wasn't fully Sasquatched. Unfortunately he didn't, or couldn't, clarify how. Will need to purchase wider fender flares.
This is actually not a bad idea although i'll be opting for the manual trans which i can get in a 4.7 ratio.
my concern is really what suspension differences there are between badlands w/ or w/o squatch. I'm under the inclination that the suspension is Identical and only the fender flares, wheels/tires are part of the upgrade, Although what gets me is the concept photo i posted on my second post or so where it sits pretty level with 35s, either this was a very early on photo or the springs are indeed different.
Do we know if the concept had the squatsch kit installed?
as of now you can't get manual with a 4.7 final drive
Go to Ford's website. Look it up. 4.7 comes standard on the Badlands with manual transmission, as OP has said multiple times.you cannot get manual trans with a 4.7 rear end
you cannot get manual trans with a 4.7 rear end
where was this pulled from?
B&P will allow you to add 4.7 gears on the Badlands for no charge and without going SasquatchSquatch springs are stiffer, therefore taller, than BL suspension.
If you wanna see BL suspension, non squatch, with 35s look at the overland concept.
Also, if you're going AT with BL squatch is only way to get 4.7s.
sorry, i didn't know he was configuring badlands (i must be blind, i just clued in the thread title said sasquatch badlands question, golly i must be going crazy)Go to Ford's website. Look it up. 4.7 comes standard on the Badlands with manual transmission, as OP has said multiple times.
From the data sheets about the Bronco stickied to the general topics forum since reveal day July 13. A lot of info provided on day 1 hasn't changed, which makes me wonder why it's taken over 3 months to get Build and Price.where was this pulled from?
with what feels like 2000 different combinations to choose from i can assure you that you aren't alonesorry, i didn't know he was configuring badlands (i must be blind, i just clued in the thread title said sasquatch badlands question, golly i must be going crazy)
Yep, another poster pointed that out to me. Thanks!B&P will allow you to add 4.7 gears on the Badlands for no charge and without going Sasquatch![]()
Not sure why anyone would want/need this? With automatic, Badlands with 33s and 4.46 crawls slower than Sasquatch with 35s and 4.7. Ford is not stupid! They chose this gearing carefully to optimize drive characteristics across trims and packages.B&P will allow you to add 4.7 gears on the Badlands for no charge and without going Sasquatch![]()
