Starting over

I have always said that I kind of wished I'd seen the Antimatter Blue before I ordered. Especially since it was a year one only color. Anything to make my Bronco more unique. I see one every now and then and I'm reminded that I have this regret.

Would have gotten Sasquatch and Hoss 3.0. The former wasn't available with the rest of my build ('21 BL 7MT MIC), and the latter didn't exist.

If they do a good job with the hybrid, I might trade into that.

When I was originally looking, I had my heart set on a HPR 2-Dr Black Diamond 7MT

I ended up with a 4Dr Carbonized Grey Big Bend.

But ....


Got the 7MT - so no regrets. I had a limited time to take advantage of a work vehicle deal, so didn't have time to place a custom order.

Having my 2dr 7mt feels like the pieces are finally in place. My only wish it was actually orange.

Would you consider buying a 2026 now that they brought orange back?

50-50 that I would have sprung for the BD instead of BB and thrown some cloth upholstery on it. I added most the BD features and better for about the same money BUT I would have had 4.46 gears if I ever decide I want a front locker,

I woudn't change anything. But then I do a lot of research first and seldom make any changes without a good reason. It takes more than "that's what everyone is doing" for me to pull the trigger.

Yep, there are times in life you can not afford to be cheap.

There is only one thing that comes to mind for me. I wish I would have went straight to the 32 spline UFDU instead of buying 29 spline RCV's. Outside of that I've managed to do it right and not again.

If I could have got a base with 2.7, SAS, MGV seats & 12" screen I would have. I wouldn't do without any of them so it pushed me to a SAS Badlands at the time. It's been just fine

I had that conversation, but the financial situation doesn’t make sense IMO. I can’t get a 2dr without spending a bunch of a Badlands & then adding the sasquatch package. It’s easier to wrap our current bronco and get an actual orange like Code Orange from the Raptor.

Cost increase aside, if I was ordering my two door Badlands today I would use the option of NOT paying for the disconnect bar and put the money towards a painted top. Of course Orange Fury would be the color choice. The beaches of the east coast do not require the ability to disconnect ….

starting over?? Finally got the new bronc last Thursday after waiting over a wk. for the update on it. Now I'm starting over with all the aftermarket things I took off my old bronc, amazing how short of a time removing them and now how long it is taking to put them on the new one oh boy

I got mine off the lot; the only green one had NavyPier/Gray and not the better looking Roast/Black interior. Furthermore, I would've gone Ranger Raptor over Bronco if it existed back in 2022!
