While we’re on the payout subject. Make sure you check into accessory coverage. Most insurance companies won’t cover rims, tires, lights, audio upgrades and such. I have progressive and carry another 20k for accessories over my standard policy.

OP - do you have any idea where your Bronco ended up? If it will be auctioned off as a whole, or parted out? I'm looking for a few interior pieces (center console, etc) that I'm assuming would still be in shape, any ideas who to contact would be great.

Asking since I’ve never had this happen. Accident happens. Insurance totals it out, sends you a check.

Are you saying the old vehicle is bid upon by other insurance companies? When they pay you out, don’t they own the old vehicle, be default?

Glad you’re ok and we all feel bad you have to find a new Bronco but the woman who hit you died which makes having a totaled Bronco and having to find a new one, seem like not the biggest of worries.

I was wondering the same thing. This thread really has no point, IMO. There was really no context to the OP's first post in this thread; just pics. The pics could have been before/after for all we know. The OP doesn't speak very well (no punctuation and kind of rambles). So maybe he had head damage in the accident?
