Steering issues. My Power steering seems like it's Stuck in one of the off road modes where you get less assist.

I know there's no fluid and this is fully electronic. I've tried driving a bit in different GOAT modes thinking that would "unjam" it, but no luck. It's very hard to steer and doesn't return to center on it's own as you come out of a turn on streets.

anyone have any ideas?

as point of info, i run 37s on 17 x12.5 rims. cold pressure is 34-36. pretty sure this is not a TP issue

Pretty much had this exact issue with my 2021 non SAS 4 door big bend. No codes or anything. Was running 33x12 wheels. Even tried switching back to stock wheels because I thought maybe the wider tire offset was causing too much scrub friction for the base model steering rack. Drove me nuts, at times I had to force the steering. Was practically unsafe to drive. Finally after the 2nd time I took it to the dealership, they discovered that my PCSM needed an update. They updated my power steering rack (I think they did it right through Forscan). And after they updated my steering, the car drove completely normal again. Super weird and incredibly frustrating. I was confident it was a mechanical issue or that my steering rack bushings were going. Absolutely hate that something as simple as a outdated software caused my vehicle to be essentially unsafe to operate. The steering on these vehicles SUCK and there's too many computers operating things, and Ford seriously needs to do something about it.
