Stinger Tailgate Sub?

Finally about to finally pull the trigger on one..just wondering for those that have..
1. What amp are you using to power it? Have heard some say that Kicker 500.1 is not powerful enough or right amp for it
2. Are some using a multichannel amp for complete system..and if so are you still able to utilize a bass knob

Sorry if questions seem redundant..just finally saved up enough for sub and amp..I have a 23 sub delete and have already changed out all other speakers

I have an Audison SR.5.600 and it sounds great. Audison APX 4 (4) AND APX 6.5 (2).

I have one more test left, top off. Will be doing that this week when Topliftpro arrives.

I run it with a 500.1 and it seems darn good to me even if on paper it seems like it won't squeeze every oz out of the stinger. Remote bass knob usually somewhere between 11 and 2.

Mine runs on an AudioControl 600. Been rocking it all summer with the top off. Sounds great.

i use a 10" pro kicker in mti tail gate sub box no porting
rocksford amp amd processor alpine co axles in deck pods and big 6" alpines in kickers very clear and thumping
