Stinger 12” tailgate Sub or 8” Kicker Sub (enclosure)

The stinger Sub Drilling and wire complications is definitely something I’m not looking forward to doing myself.
But it sounds like it really is worth considering having someone else (professional) do it for me.

At 51 y/o, this is the route I’m taking. Just placed a deposit for the Stinger, Alpine speakers, SSV Pods, DSP and amps to be installed in a couple weeks.

just wondering if you ever added the new stigner sub with updated A.C sub??

i think im going to go down this route. but i just wanted to get some feedback on the sound/Bass quality of the SUB.

I haven’t. I decided 1) it’s way too hot to be messing with a full install right now in Houston. And 2) I’ll rock what I’ve got until I have some more disposable income around January. And 3) the Apline Optim8 amp/dsp looks like it might be exactly what I want but it’s new and has no real feedback so I’m waiting for that too.

Does anyone know if the Stinger 12” tailgate sub will fit if you have the pull-out tailgate? This is for a four (4) door Wildtrak.

Does anyone know if the Stinger 12” tailgate sub will fit if you have the pull-out tailgate? This is for a four (4) door Wildtrak.

Although it takes up some room in the back of the Bronco. I really am digging the 48TRTP122 12" sub-woofer and passive radiator.

It makes the right sound and I don't sacrifice too much space.
