I'd prefer expanded or perforated metal to diamond plate.
The diamond plate was just for fabrication purposes. Looking at doing an open pattern to provide traction and prevent mud and debris build up.

definitely interested as well. Archetype racing requires drilling holes, and that's a no go for me, glad to hear these here will clamp on and be easy on/off. Archetype makes to quality products from what I've seen, but with the (granted, justified) price tag. I just can't se spending some $800 for 4 little steps, no matter how or from what material they're made.

I'm still torn if I want to go this way or just get some other rock sliders that have a bit of a step built in, some interesting solutions there as well, for a similar price. I'm just not sure yet if I like the 4 steps hanging there look or rather go with the traditional slider/step look. The later also gives you more areas to step on if you do things on the roof.

I would potentially be interested as well. Pricing on this will be important.

Not looking to pay for full rail replacement to enhance the current ones. Like the idea of daily use and removal on trail! Following this thread as well.
Interested but agree that pricing is important . There’s another company on here developing one, but they want way too much for a set of 4 IMO. I’ll just buy a side step if I’m paying side step prices. The new side step from RC has removable stirrups, which is cool. The only reason I haven’t pulled the trigger on the RC ones is because I doubt they double as rock rails.
