You cannot remove the Mid Panel with the Roof Rack fully attached. There is not enough clearance, due to it being one solid piece.
With that said, I was curious to see if removing the front cover and bolts would allow enough clearance to lift the rack slightly to slide out the mid panel. It took about 15 minutes to get the front cover and bolts off. I then put a folded microfiber towel under each front of the roof rack where it attaches to the Bronco. After this I unlatched all of the mid panel latches and slid it towards the windshield. I then pushed the driver’s side of the panel though the gap and rested it on the driver’s seat. And lastly, I went around to the passenger’s side and slid it out the other side.
