Well, I don't have it on and just roll that way. Seems most local LEOs don't care and neither do DPS... But there is always that *one*...

I support this bill!

most times they don't mess with you unless they pulled you for something else...

but "always that 1" is right, and I got pulled over by THAT guy before and the ONLY thing he wanted was my front plate. Wasn't speeding, nothing excessive, full stop at a sign etc...but he pulled behind me and followed me to a stop light. I stopped for the red and waited (blinker on), and sure enough as soon as it turned green his lights came one...so I pull into a lot and the only thing he had on me was front plate missing. I've put my front plate on ever since. Absolutely stupid law IMO.

Looks like a public hearing has been scheduled for April 5th, let's get this thing across the finish line!
I want to let my engine breathe without a massive obstruction blocking airflow.

DPS claimed to be neutral on the bill, but then went on to testify all the reasons that front plates should remain. 🤬

Yeah, I figured that would happen but at least they seemed open to the idea of window stickers in the front as apposed to a plate.

Already have inspection sticker in windshield.

Many others states don’t require front plates.

Best of luck!

We have the same requirement here in WA state.

Asinine.

However, the dealer was kind enough to neglect attachment of the front bracket, and I’ve taken the liberty of repealing that law within the jurisdiction of my Bronco.

Effectively did the same with my ‘19 Ranger that the Bronco replaced.

Haven’t caught any grief from the “that guy” LEO yet - knock on wood. But, I think the cops here get it and would probably only bring it up to stack tickets on someone being an a-hole, either on the road or during a stop.
