I'm in construction in Ohio. There are plates in the parking lot from Ohio, Pennsylvania, Iowa, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Michigan and im sure from other states so..........yeah, these things happen......

Anybody after some classic-use exempt tags for the state of Texas?
Have some spare from bringing the T-bird home from the grand parents house. Not exactly sure how they work or the legality, but they were sad to see them leave. It's the small metal add-on tag which exempts you from annual license tabs but probably has a use limitation.

I'm a 3 time transfer to the state. Some of it is the WFH transfer but, like us, corporate transfers. Easier to offer a package to an employee that knows the business and is trained, than training local.
We have 12 moves in 20 years because of it (3 countries, 3 states). I have 8 zip codes in Houston and its suburbs alone because my husband's promotions to different offices/divisions. Depends on where you are but this is common in the Houston area. It took 5years our first time here before I actually met someone born in Houston lol!
Already planning our next transfer in 2024 when the last kid graduates. Property taxes are high here with very little legislation to rope it in, and overall cost of living - a lot of what North7 stated - actually doesn't make it cheaper. Plus screw the grid nonsense. I love the cold, I don't like how it's handled here.
