looks like it is so. outer banks is the mall crawler, wialdtrak is the advanced mall crawler.
Yep. In the Tacoma world, the Wildtrak and outerbanks would be known as the TRD Sports.

I reserved for badlands, but starting to hate the grill. Like the black diamond better.

In one of the videos i watched last night, im pretty the guy said the wildtrax has a wider track width than the other models...if true would that mean it has some sort of long travel suspension and isnt just a lux mall crawler? If i find the clip, ill post it here

The BD should have the sway-bar disconnect be optional. I have good reason for this as it's the only other model with "Rock Crawl" mode, and upgraded bash plates.

I would probably go for a BD if that were the case. Iā€™ve never done rock crawling but I just want that discobar.

Ford intentions for the wildtrak are specifically a high speed desert runner, put squatch on a Badlands and thereā€™s your wildtrak without the hood graphic. The sway bar disco and rock rails are for Badlands, Black diamond spec crawlers.
Plus the 2.7/auto ,painted hardtop and mid package...among others

None of which has any bearing on the off-road abilities in question.
