Hello all.

We're dealing with a '22, Badlands SAS 2-door.

I was wiping the truck down after a trip through the carwash and noticed water on the rear bumper no matter how many times I wiped it down...after further investigation, I pulled a plug on the bottom of the tailgate and water poured out of the hole for 45 seconds...

Has anyone else run into this?

I left the plug out...

This is normal and what the plugs are designed for.

The question is how did that much water get into the tailgate in the first place?

UPDATE...UPDATE...UPDATE

While installing the Ford Performance beadlock rings I had to take the spare off the mount on the tailgate and discovered one of the valves in the outside wall of the tailgate had fallen out of the hole.

I snapped it back in place and will report back when I hit the carwash next.

Thank you to all who replied.
