I get the most waves in the Bronco from Bronco Sport drivers, but have gotten a couple Jeepers. I wave back. I'm more used to my Land Cruiser, which gets waves from a lot of different vehicles, so long as they are wheelers.

Oddly enough, only I receive any waves or compliments/comments in a parking lot. Wife says nobody ever says anything to her or waves.

Either you drive like a dick or the person has mental health issues.

No normal/sane person would give you the finger strictly because you drive a different brand car than they do.

I’ve seen this thread pop up a couple of times here and I just struggle to believe it actually happens.
oh it happened with me, for sure. I thumbs upped the guy and he flipped me off. The hilarious part was later that same day I saw him in the supermarket parking lot near us and he was taking his 4 year old out of a car seat in the back hahahah! He was a dumpy middle aged dude like me, except apparently he had at least one kid way later than me! Maybe that was why he was so pissed?

2022 Base, 2-door, MT, Bronc here. Some jeepers talk to me at stop lights and ask how is it. Most give the quick look and turn their heads just as quick. Puzzled though, 4-door Bronc's ignore me like most jeepers. One woman, a jeeper parked next to me at the supermarket and told me she loved my pony. No middle finger from me just a thumbs up to all who create their own road in a 4x4. Tommy Bronc

What's the deal with Jeep owners shooting us Bronco owners the finger. My wife and I got it twice yesterday.
Jealous, just plain jealous. I have a sticker, in the rear window of my JK, that says"My Pretend Bronco". Some folks laugh, but the ones that don't blow the horn and salute their IQ.

Funny I am still driving my Wrangler until the Bronco shows up and I thumbs upped a Bronco and the guy gave me the finger - I think he thought I was giving him grief? Either way, it's kind of funny how antsy and tribal people can get.
Can't win for loosin!!

I said fuck it. I wave at broncos, jeeps, and bronco sports now.
But let's not start another wave. I stopped doing that to Jeeps a few years back. 15 years of waving was enough for me.

To my knowledge, I’ve not been flipped off. But then I don’t look! I love Jeeps and I own a short wheelbase vintage CJ. The Bronco is a different animal and as such meets my current needs perfectly. Would I like to take my CJ on the trail?…absolutely!! Holy shit, even with open differentials it goes unbelievable places. Unfortunately, it’s extremely uncomfortable to drive (knees by your ears…), requires arm and hand strength to steer even with power steering, and won’t hold my required camping gear. No way I could sleep in it!

I have no animosity towards Jeepers. Unfortunately, I think only about 10% of them ever experience any dirt (the beach?). It’s definitely the trendy vehicle at the moment.

Maybe they don't like the way you drive. I get it sometimes from speed demons who zoom around me as I'm coasting to a red light. They speed up to the red light, slam their brakes on, and then floor it if they can when the light goes green.
…and…then they complain in a forum like this one about the crappy gas mileage they are getting!!!

I've only gotten 2 waves from other Bronco owners since I got my Bronco in Late August. They both happened to be 2 doors, too.

think about it....they ordered their bronco years ago, it took to long to get scheduled and then they bought a jeep instead lol. Heavy regrets lol

All I can say is that when I was at Trail Hero last October in Sand Hollow.... every single jeep guy or girl or whatever they were in, was cooler than shit to me and my Bronco.

One guy in a sweet 392 Jeep even took a video of me on one of the obstacles without me asking because he knew I was by myself. My experience is the real off road guys dont get involved in that BS.
I agree. When I’m on the trails I get nothing but respect from other drivers. It’s only on the pavement that these interactions happen.
It’s almost as if people who purchase products as a lifestyle brand (cough cough Harleys) are personally attacked if you chose something different. But people who choose an authentic lifestyle activity are way more open to diversity.

Lucky you A. Only 4-door Bronc's and a ton of Jeeps in my neighborhood/area. Have yet to see a 2-door Bronc on the street/expressway yet in northern Illinois. Tommy Bronc

They are super few and far between. I think in the 6-7 months of ownership I've seen maybe 2-3 in my area. 4 doors I see quite often.

I own a 2 door bronco and a 2 door rubicon, I haven't noticed any wacky behavior from the owners of either when I'm driving the opposite.
