Public service announcement. If you are going to PPF do it before you offroad so you don’t have to get the paint fixed first.

I would like to thank the Ford team for designing and building this machine. I would also like to apologize in advance for conducting my own version of ‘Built Wild’ testing.

Holy hell that thing got scratched to hell was it from brush rubbing against it or just dirt and debris thrown down the sides

Dirt and debri from the tires down low by the rocker panels. Scratches into the paint down the side from various bushes and tree branches.

All goat modes rocker panels skid plates and steel bumpers were successfully tested.

Headed to Death Valley tomorrow for more testing. I will try and send a follow up on the PPF and how it performs.

I’m not really a detail guy so I don’t know how they did it, but the truck looks better now than when I picked it up new.

That must’ve cost $$$$ to get them to do all the correction, PPF, and everything else.

If you’re doing PPF, you want a good exterior detailing done and probably a claybar.

thanks for becoming the example of what not to do

Any updates on how well the PPF performs when offroading? Looking to do the same!
Thank you!

@Bronco Pilot. Please share your opinions of actual off road use with PPF.

Thanks
