Well, my Bronco is officially broken in now. I had a pipe leaning against my camper. The Bronco was parked next to the camper, the pipe fell, leaving a nice dent in the rear passenger quarter panel. Sucks, but thinking I’ll just pull the quarter Panel off, and bring it in to a body shop, instead of bringing the whole Bronco in. Looks very easy to remove.

Arrgh. That sucks, sorry to see. I know it’s inevitable I’ll get some dings too, just hoping it’s a while before that day arrives.

So, someone asked about my flares, so I took a picture. Then I started looking at my paint. Bought in November. Still haven’t washed it. Am thinking there may be more scratches than I realize.

I don’t think so. Most of those visible pin-striping marks are simply through the trail dust still clinging to the clear coat. If you rinsed that panel off with a garden hose, then wiped your hand across the wet surface and rinsed again, you would be amazed at how many of those marks go away, even without soap.

Try it and report back. The flares are another matter entirely.

Showroom quality. That’s what I tell the wife.

I got a scratch right next to the driver's side handle on the door.....every time I get in the car I want to throw up lol.....I've never babied a car as much as I have this thing after having to wait and all the stress issues.

The panels are very easy to remove, I saw a video on it somewhere.

If you actually take it on a trail, maybe you can pick up more to match.

Scratches give character. Dents show that you drove it like you’re supposed to.

Or, it just happened in the driveway or at the mall….

This ain’t meant to be a show pony, boys!

Maybe - but since you haven’t washed it in months are you that concerned with how it looks?
A dirty car makes me nuts and I wash frequently - but that’s me.
You do you - go ahead and let it patina!

It’s been to Moab! Does that count?
"Been to"...? Well, my daughters stroller has "been to" Moab. Guess I should slap some trail badges on that old thing.
