This is one area where Jeeps have an advantage. There is a reason why they still have the foldable (and easily replaceable) windshield frame... These pillars should have been replaceable without welding at minimum.

Tipped over in Moab, smashed the mirror in to the pillar the base is crushed and dented. Cracked the windshield.
