That’s not necessarily true, it will take you much longer and the fun starts when you break a valve stem. But go ahead and learn the hard way, to each their own.

no joke in there, only experience.
To each their own! I’ve aired down many many times with only a gauge at the beach and on the trails and never broken a valve.

Wow that’s a lot of cash for something I can do for free with my finger and 5 minutes.

Hmm there’s a joke in there somewhere...
They are pricey but after you've bought the cheap $20.00 ones and they fail it's money well spent. Plus these you just screw them on and once you've made your way around all four tires they're usually set. Another big bonus is you don't have to kneel down and wait while the tires are deflating which most will understand as you get older. 😜

How often and how far are you going to air down?

I just use my air gauge with a pressure release button. Takes about 5min (all 4 tires) to go from street pressure to 25ish for forrest service roads.

Don't really need anything fancy for airing down/up. You can also just pull the valve core and do the "knee" check to get you close.

This one looks nice, I may need to order it, I like that it screws onto the valve stem.

Probably only three seasons and hopefully weekly I'm leaning toward the ARB deflator with the valve. Just keep it simple for now I think I have other accessories I would like to buy first . Thank you all I will follow the links provided.

I've used both the ARB deflator and the Stauns. I generally always air down to the same PSI (15 PSI) so the Stauns work great. Less than a minute to screw on all 4 and then BS with whomever you're wheeling with until you hear them stop hissing. No bending over each tire individually or checking the gauge repeatedly.

The ARB stays in my recovery kit , in case I want to air down to a different PSI for some reason or someone else needs to borrow it.

The thing I like about the ARB is it can bounce between trucks. I can use it on the trail with my Ranger, use it to drop the tires to almost flat so my '150 can get under the camper and someday maybe I can use it to air down the Bronco also.

My coyote deflators can do that as well. I air down to the same psi whether its my f150, wife’s grand cherokee or my jeep. I keep the arb in the camper trailer now.

ARB deflator .. it works, its simple.. and does not loose the setting like the auto deflater ones... staun and the copies, which I own as well but no longer use, are ok but ...honestly you have to test them to see what they are actually set at, generally its 18psi.. but f'ing with 4 of them to reset them to 15psi or whatever.....reliably is a chore.. I find it far easier and faster to do all 4 tires with the ARB
