Hi,

Today was my lucky day and we got to pick-up our new Bronco at the dealership. Now it's time to learn the operation of the vehicle! First, I have a question that I noticed that I missed asking dealership. The tire pressure for each tire ranges from 52 to 55 psi! About the same cold or hot. I know the recommended tire pressure is 39 psi. Is there any reason it would come shipped with almost 20 psi higher than needed? I did notice it drove a bit stiff/harsh than I recall an earlier test drive, which I am hoping goes away as soon as I lower the pressure. Just curious if others had there delivered way over the recommendations.

Also, I had about 45 miles on the odometer when I picked it up. I thought it should be less than that. The dealership didn't even have it a day so not sure where those were put on.

I had 4 miles on mine when I picked it up and my tires were 45-47psi. It rode much worse than what I remember from the demo I had for a weekend a couple months earlier.

Aired down to 39 when I got home and ride quality was much better.

I saw someone else post about this yesterday also. Said his was around 52 I think and rode much better after dropping down to 40.

Delivery PSI is higher than normal. The dealer is supposed to adjust to correct PSI. Dealer prep. You probably paid for it.

I sure hope not as mine shouldn't have made a trip to dirt mtn (came with soft top). But I do know it took them 2-3 weeks to build it. It had a blend date the first week of October but they didn't ship it for about 3 weeks, so it was floating around in build purgatory for that time. I figured it had a QC issue and had to go back for something. The dealer actually said they were curious why it had that many miles too and would look into it... I really dont think it was the dealer though.

About pics, yeah we took some pics. Let me post them from my wife's phone.

Pretty normal. They run higher pressures for transport. A good dealer will correct the pressure during PDI.

Higher to help avoid flat spotting. Should be set to recommended at prep.

Not surprised. I test drove my dealer's first Bronco Sport for a weekend. I noticed that it rode VERY rough so I checked the tires when I got it to my house. ~50psi in all 4 !

The sweet spot for me in AZ is 35PSI cold. Warms up to 39psi in the first couple minutes for a buttery smooth ride. (35" Goodyears)

Mine also came 50+ PSI.

Mine took over a week from blend date to built date. It arrived with a card saying it was in extended QA and they recorded the odometer. (low 20's, forget exact mileage).

I think I’d rather have it come off the truck overinflated than come like this:

Had the same issue when my Bronco big Bend non squatch was delivered.
When I set up the Ford Pass app on my phone I noticed it said my tire pressure was 42 psi and the recommendation was 35. I checked the tires with a gage and they were all 42 psi. I checked the tag in the door and it also recommended 35 psi so I lowered the pressure.
