Imagine believing the Sasquatch package is just a tire package
Unfortunately, quite a few do. Even the flannel-wearing rep at the demo event at my local dealer completely glossed over the inclusion of a front locker and fortified axles when someone asked about Sasquatch.

Not sure if ignorance, mere gaffe, or a tactic to downplay the package given production constraints?

My 2 door, Manual Transmission, base model Cherokee has been doing stuff like this for the last 2 decades. It's about used up. The Torch will be passed to my 2door, Manual Transmission, base model Bronco.
The Cherokee has lockers, lower gears, and bigger tires, and some suspension upgrades that would have been nice to have with a factory warranty, and the labor to put it together. If I'm able to get what I want from the factory, then I will. The price for selectable lockers, better suspension, better wheels, and bigger tires, all backed by warranty and already installed is worth it to me.
Even if I got a base with no packages, I'd end up doing the stuff myself anyway.
Base looks great, but I need lockers, and I know it.

My BL non-sas will see a ton of dirt and rocks. I spend 6 months a year with the RV parked in the desert or Rockies, I got my Damn AWD CR-V stuck about a dozen times taking it places where it had no business being!
I always enjoy seeing people use their brand new Rubicon's out on the trails doing what they are built to do. Glad you will be using your Badlands for its intended purpose.

Another 7 speed MT antimatter blue here, too. Floor mats being my only option.

Kirk
ps. I will swap out stock tires at dealership for some 255/85r16 BFG KM3, though.
excellent choice. I might do the same on the shoes myself. wish we could see these dang things in the flesh.

Mine will be a DD have no need for all the crap that could go wrong my total build is under 32,000 base is the way to go for simple people on a budget.
Thereā€™s nothing wrong with the base. Itā€™ll be a pretty sweet ride. Although itā€™s not my cup of tea, I certainly acknowledge it fits the need for many. Different strokes for different folks. šŸ˜€

Maybe Iā€™m all wrong, but the 7sp m/t comes with 4.46 geared axles. The ā€˜Squatch has 4.7 geared axles. Hopefully 33ā€™s arenā€™t too much, as that is what I had planned for my 2 door Base manual trans.
I had 35ā€™s on my ā€˜06 F250 with 5.4 auto with 3.73 gears, and it was a TURD.

Gearing (especially for the auto) and axles are the base shortcomings if you are looking for bigger tires (35+) and pushing it off roading.
I think the base Sasquatch is an incredible deal.

Ah good point I forgot about. I was assuming 3.7 on the auto

It is a great deal! Iā€™m just very impatient, and couldnā€™t wait until ā€˜22 for the Base Mansquatch.

If I could get limited slip or locker for the rear axle only, no squatch for me. One bad experience burying my F250 (with limited slip) in the snow shapes my thinking, long ass walk in deep snow...

I just assume anyone who doesnā€™t understand the tire size and wheels are the least desirable part of the Sasquatch package, are probably off roaders in name only.... *cough*posers*cough*
