If you're using tiny holes in the seat an a factor on family planning, that might be a sign that you shouldn't have children

The truck is air conditioned........
The size of the holes in the seats has no correlation with the argument.
And yes the truck is air conditioned, thankfully ?

And I intend to use the remote start feature regularly to cool the interior.

Let me know when the moist towelette option becomes available ?

And which test do we have to pass to be certified a Bronco lover?

At least you're a good sport about this. You pass the good sense of humor test, if there is one. I hope you get your ball coolers. Maybe they can combine a bolster pump with a baby powder dispenser so with the press of a button, you get a cool shot of powder on the boys to provide coolness as well as moisture control. ;)

Hey I understand this reaction to some of us wanting "ventilated seats". A rough and tough, true off roader that conquers the Hells Gate without breaking a sweat, that you can take the roof and the doors off, that you can hose the interior clean and that looks like it does...utterly handsome! But I remind myself that there was a time when basic air-conditioning in a car was a luxury, when ABS was looked upon with suspicion, when electric roll up windows were a needless complexity, and now how many of us would care to do without those things?

I drove a beat up Toyota Corolla during my residency with seats that were little more than springs, whose steering wheel was so loose that it would move 90 degrees with minor road bumps, and that had so many miles that the speedo had stopped at its max....and it had an ac that dripped on the carpet inside and that I had to charge with freon almost every week.
I sold that car that never broke down on me for $900 and that last I heard it was dutifully serving another student.

We are all car lovers here and the Bronco triggers something in all of us, it is that special.

And thankfully we can all configure it as we wish....whether or not cooled seats are an option  (y)

two good reasons not to get it.
1. dirt and dust gets in there and can cause clogs and issues. or if water gets in there you can get mold in the cushion.

2. more susceptible to tears. having perforation means they have a higher risk to tearing or ripping and damaging the seats.

For those that don’t get it, Google “SNL Pete Schweddy”.

I cannot argue with your reasoning and there will be other reasons for other people who are against vented seats. But, that is why it need not be a part of a package or be standard equipment God forbid, but rather an option for those who may want it.

Having said that, I have ventilated seats in my 2013 Landcruiser and at least three other cars without any issues of mold or tearing.
