Yes this is true.It’s beginning to look as if the reservation time is the real priority number within the dealer‘s orders, but not Ford as a whole. Seems that way with recent reservations being built over long term reservation holders with similar builds, but different dealers.
The priority numbers are generally for prioritization at that particular dealer. NOT the priority for Ford as a whole. And even still… it is rare that Ford will ship dealers their vehicles in exact priority code order, especially right now with all of the component shortages.
And yes, the reservation timestamp is basically a substitute priority code that is (generally speaking) only helpful relative to the other orders at your particular dealer, not Ford as a whole.
