I've had 550+ days to formulate this plan.
My 10.25% Chicago vehicle sales tax laughs in the face of your 8%.
I think mines around 9% in my CA county. When I had to sell my 2021 BD I covered all of my costs plus a bit above, I played fair. But yes, once you add sales tax abs fees it gets ridiculous.

I really feel that today's release is a good indicator since it was worked with Ford. Either way I'm 99'd waiting on the white top so hopefully the HE details will come out near the opening of '23 ordering. If the details are good then I'm not any worse for wear waiting longer.

Definitely waiting for something like a Heritage.

Seems Ford would rather pump a ton of money and R&D into their expensive models that appeal to the 1% of their buyers, than make actual models they could build with parts off the shelf.

Look how well the reasonably priced Maverick is selling. No reason the Base (even that name sucks) Bronco has to be so limited in it's options.

I'll wait. No need to jump in and take a spot now from somebody who has been waiting a long time.

I'll wait for Ford to get their issues worked out.

I'll wait until the hype has passed and I can get an actual deal on a Bronco and not pay MSRP or more. I'm not in a hurry.

The raptor is a performance model. "Heritage" will probably be an OBX with a white grille

Anyone have a clue as to when we can expect some news
Nothing official, but the rumor is....in keeping with the 'heritage' concept, these will be offered with REBUILT 2.7 engines from all the Broncos that have been towed back to their dealers

Yes and have to expect the market to soften as more hit the road. I thought maybe the AMT may hold a little bit more value but we will see. My wife just said to me “man you are spending all my inheritance on this thing”. Wait till I come home with the HE. I’m thinking I better spend it before she divorces me.

Now that I finally have my old Escape running good, I could probably wait until 2025. Hell yeah I'm waiting for the heritage edition.

The Escape has been an amazing car, but I'm looking forward to having a much cooler DD.

Here’s a link to the thread discussing all thing Bronco Heritage Edition: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...dicated-thread-for-all-things-heritage.18073/

Below is a copied post from that thread that recaps where we are at in regards to wait time.

Well everyone, it’s time for a recap:

The 2022 Everglades was recently revealed by Ford. Notice that the fenders have a prominent square profile. It is EXTREMELY likely that these fenders will be equipped on the Heritage Edition.

Also noticeable is the fact that the Everglades fenders are custom fit to match the square flares.
@Lbracket ‘s render is becoming more and more promising.

We’ve seen all of the major distinguishing features of the Heritage edition this year.

1. The White Retro Wheels (Obviously spray painted over by Ford with black paint)

2. The White Script FORD Grille (Spy Photos and leaked documentation)

3. The Square Fenders (Everglades also will have them)

Is anyone else holding off to see the heritage edition before placing their order? I have an 8/20 reservation that has been in priority 99 status since they first told us we could not get the white roof in 21. I had the opportunity to buy a canceled 4dr Badlands soft top at a local dealer to hold me over (still waiting for it to be delivered) but still holding on to the possibility of using my original res for the Bronco I really wanted. Is anyone else holding out to see the Heritage before ordering? Anyone have a clue as to when we can expect some news on that front?
@Cactus Jack Do you want to refer the OP to your linked threads on the Heritage Edition?

In those threads are links to renders produced by @Bellebracht . I would encourage others to view those renders.

Thanks for that. I am liking what I see on those renderings 🤞
