As someone sitting on ice mountain since 1/14, this brings some joy to my heart that maybe, just maybe those of us waiting for a microchip will get out before they continue with new builds. Brand new builds getting delivered while 1000s of us wait on ice mountain is what is making my blood turn cold. Well that and FMC replying 'wahoo' to the very few people receiving broncos and crickets for the rest of us. Huzzah!

I agree, I hope they get yours and ice mountain resolved so the rest of us NOW MY 22 can get ours scheduled. Honestly I would hate having my Bronco sitting out there like that.

I completely disagree, they are curtailing regular production to reallocate shared parts to the Raptors (and maybe some Everglades) so that their preferred dealers have them on the lots to sell. Generate even more hype.

This is a choice by Ford, not a necessity. They are choosing to allocate limited resources away from reservation holders for the Raptor.

My opinion only of course, but it would fit with the history of choices Ford has made in this release.

To those about to claim only reservationists get Raptor allocations, I will ask in advance, please show anything from Ford that contradicts the email that they are saving 'some' spots for reservation holders.

I can't disagree with your points. I'm sure these other versions rollouts have all been planned 'in the big scheme of marketing and manufacturing' for 3-4 years. But I have almost 0 knowledge of auto manufacturing cycle so I'm stabbing.

Nahhhh I'm going to get an email tomorrow that says they're building my bronco and I can have a vin, it'll take them 2-3 days to build it and maybe 3 more to ship it to me so I'll have it in a week.

I reject your factual information, it doesn't match what I want reality to be.

In the next week I'm getting a vin, a build date, and my bronco!!!!!

think about it for a second...they're not taking fresh orders so it wouldn't matter if people wanted it not to mention all the Raptor allocations are spoken for to begin with. If Ford wants people to want a Bronco how about them just building something, anything that's not a soft topped Big Bend with 4 doors and a 4 cylinder.

I hear ya. I actually picked up a BB Stick soft 4 door to drive while I wait for mine. Found one for sticker. So I couldn’t pass it up. Makes me want mine so much more. And the 7 speed is smooth and fun.

I'm a bit skeptical of OP dealer's info here. They need to schedule April well before April arrives. Unless of course production will be so low in March that they will push many March-scheduled builds to next month.

In any case, we should know within 24 hours because scheduling is supposed to take place tomorrow.

I think there is probably just misunderstanding here (not with you). I believe that there will be no new orders taken in March (clearly stated by Ford), I don't think for a minute they are going to stop scheduling during the month of March for the future 5 weeks starting April. I'm not quite sure why there has been 5 pages of discussion on this to be brutally honest?

I am fixated on that "wave" or "wrinkle" in the back window of the soft top. I would be so upset about that ill-fitting top! Long live MIC...I will be jealous of the painted tops one day.

That is my interpretation as well. Either the dealer or the dealer's rep is not understanding it, or not clearly saying what they mean to be saying.

But hey, we've seen it all with this launch. I'm not going to entirely rule out this info being accurate as presented.
