If this is in the wrong place I apologize. Before I ordered my 2-door Base Squatch I was told that I could order the soft top and do a hard top delete (I don't want two tops). Then when I ordered I was told soft tops were not available and had to stick with the hard top. Does any of this ring of the truth? I'm no where near production but would love to delete the hard top and get the soft top.
Total falsehood … 2 door is only available with the hardtop - switch dealers.

I just meant that if she wasn't using one now (just guessing based on her question) chance is she could continue to live without it. My apologies. Was just trying to be helpful in case she valued getting her car quicker over having factory installed tow option.
No need to apologize. I have a 1979 F100 truck we used for towing and didn’t know what type of harness it had. Now that she’s all painted up and slightly restored, I’m being more careful with her. I plan on doing a lot more with the Bronco whenever I get it.

The minor, minor issues with the MIC pale in comparison to the aesthetic and utility flaws of the soft top, IMO.
Trust me im not team soft top. Definitely getting an aftermarket hard top cus i agree the soft looks like shit. Too many people posting complaints on MiC 2.0 though…

Also I know better than to listen to the opinion of a fellow locke 😛

My man, if it weren't for my low standards I would have no standards at all. 😁

I have been really happy with my MIC 2dr version. No issues to date.

only 2 of those 21 build date vehicles were 2.7L per the op.
yup, initially I was really pissed about all the allocations these dealers were getting but it looks like there weren't many higher end trims nor V6s scheduled. Maybe there's an issue or something going on with them sorting the V6 grenadine. I would rather wait a little bit longer and not need a new engine or replacement for a shoddy MIC 2.0.

The reason is straightforward, if unsatisfying.

Ford's algorithm for selecting which Broncos to schedule includes commodity limitations, dealer allocation, reservation timestamp, and likely some other factors such as balancing regional sales and trims.

This algorithm is not selecting your Bronco because of the combination of factors other than reservation timestamp.

For the first year of the reservation program, Ford made it sound like reservation timestamp was by far the most important factor, and that Broncos would be built roughly in order of reservation. But that wasn't correct.
The problem is there are Broncos at my dealer with later timestamps and the same or more constrained builds that have been scheduled.

I swapped my soft top back to a hard top. And dropped tow package. Hopefully I didnt shoot myself in the foot, but I don’t want a soft too if I can help it.
