You can keep what you bought and add the Mobridge dsp controller preamp. You will need to tune the system and if your installer isn’t experienced in tuning car audio I would go to a different installer.

Ok, so the sky isn’t falling. Yet.

my installer does tuning so that’s good. If I need to fix the DSP, I’ll look for ways to do that down the line unless it’s really bad. Mobridge seems nice but with additional $1.5k in expense. I’ll look for that separate controller for the A2B issue.
Thanks again everyone.

In your application I would recommend our A2B pro pre amp, this will allow you to remove the factory amp and also provide a inbuilt DSP that will allow you to fully tune the system. It also comes with basic plug and play harnessing

Let me know if you have any questions

I suggest you return all your Kicker product, purchase the DSP/Amp from MoBridge and some good speakers.

Good quality speakers will definitely be an improvement. But the upgrade to the 6.5s in the back is mostly wasted if they're not getting any lower frequencies than the 4" that were originally there.
All I know is what I hear and I’m definitely getting more bass and better sound from the back.
