Has anyone else had trouble with their USB port? Mine works intermittently.

Which port? You don't get power, data, or either? Have you tried a different cable?

I get nothing at times. The cable makes no difference. I’ve tried several including the Apple branded.

I've found a lot of bad cables, but once I find a good one, no issues with the ports themselves (so it seems).

Although there are quite a few reports of people who have had bad USB ports. For some, it's just a loose connector on the backside of the trim piece.

I had an issue with my phone connection dropping frequently on USB. Cables and ports seemed fine. I then noticed, it seemed a little hesitant to push the cable into my iPhone, not an easy click like it was before.
I keep my phone in my front packet most of the time. Turned out, there was damn pocket lint in the port! Got a can of compressed air and cleared it out, works like a charm again.

May not be you issue, but worth a look.

No I tried everything. It’s definitely the port itself.

One thread somewhere here is about a person who let a dealer work on it for days (weeks if I recall correctly), and all they knew to do was replace some central chip/module (to no avail) when the problem was probably the port and/or wiring close to it. He would have probably been better off letting his local computer repair shop re-wire it then hoping the mechanics at a dealer troubleshoot it...

Before drawing any conclusions on whether a USB port on your vehicle is bad, as stated before, try a different cable. Then - if that doesn't fix it - spray some DeOxit on the USB port (preferably with ignition off) and work the plug in and out of the socket a couple of times. This will distribute the cleaner/lube through those tiny socket pins. The vast majority of times this will solve the problem:
