I started this thread a couple weeks ago following the No Traction Faction tackling it.

Biggest road block seems to be the electronics at this point.

I would actually be happy to ditch the electronics that are just more stuff to break, carpay (not a typo), goat modes and all the other useless garbage.
If you've ever owned an early Bronco or a Scout etc.... you'll know what I mean.

Because without Ford, it is not happening.

What holdups do you think will require Ford's help to fix? Are you talking about full functionality of all gauges, drive modes, etc.? Because you can slap an engine in a chassis and make it move with very little effort.

This ^ To get all the electronic stuff working correctly is the hang up with modern engine swaps. There is a guy on a mustang forum I frequent doing an 3.7 V6 from a 2012 swap into a 4.0 2007 mustang. About halfway through he joked that it would have been easier to just swap the bodies

After my tune, the 2.7 was the right motor for the bronco. Just have to get lucky with the exhaust setup for a good tone.

Still would like to see them get it finished.

I do have Downpipes. Had to run dual resonators to get a good sound out of it.
