Velocity Blue Metallic thread

I started as an A51 guy but have backed off lately after seeing it in person on a Sport. A51 has too much teal in the undercoat for me.

VB and AMB are the next two on the list, and both are very intriguing. A VB with a white top would really pop, IMO. Still trying to sort it all out, but I've got time. I'm a late res holder, so I expect another option or two before I have to nail things down. But the pix on this thread are certainly encouraging. I've only seen VB in person on a Ranger.

Orange and blue are complementary colors. They look great together and make eachother pop!

I don't like the blue coming through the door either. I am thinking about wrapping it in satin black.

I’ve come to the blue side.
Many moons ago I thought I wanted AMB.
Saw it on a can at SuperCel, definitely didn’t like it.
Saw the A51 Overland concept with the lighter colored (early rendition) MIC and knew that was the one. But I never saw it in sunlight. It looked awesome in the shade. Then saw pics of it in the sun. I don’t want a powder blue Bronco.
Thought really hard about Race red. It’s also very, very nice. Especially in the sun. But then I remembered how much effort and maintenance go into keeping red looking good. Until it doesn’t any more.
We drove through a local lot this weekend just to look around. And there, like a beam of light from the heavens sat an F150 in VB.
Man what an awesome color. I’ve seen it before on smaller cars and liked it.
But I wondered how good it would look on a larger vehicle.
Anyway, emailed the dealer, switched my order. VB it is. Officially, and done.

Couldn’t agree more. I’m getting 2-door VB black diamond manual. Thought I wanted AMB, then saw it in person, not blue enough. Thought I wanted A51, saw it in in full sun, too light. Then I see VB on a new ranger and new f150 at my local dealer, and I knew I had to have it. VB feels modern but also has some vintage vibes to it which I dig. I think it’s the perfect color for the bronco. Can’t wait.

This is the way.

I’m now torn between two colors. Loving both blues is breaking all the rules. I feel like I am cheating on VB.
I was in for a dark blue but AMB looked too dark and there were too many doctored looking photos that made it look lighter. I went all in for Velocity and now I’ve seen too many AMB vehicles and it is swaying me back. 50/50 right now.
