Hi Shahram. Welcome aboard. I am leaning towards transferring my reservation to Serramonte Ford. They will not be charging any additional deposit when we confirm our order in December. Will you be charging any additional deposit above the $100.00 we have already committed and if the answer is yes, is that money fully refundable if at any time we back out?

Hey all! My name is Shahram Tavakol, one of the sales managers at Walnut Creek Ford. I have been at this Dealership since 2003, and can't remember a more exciting time then right now.

I am the designated Bronco specialist at our Dealership, and loving it! Feeling incredibly grateful and blessed for the amazing interest in the 2021 Bronco, as well as having a enthusiast community, such as Bronco6g.

I know there has been a lot of ground covered already, so I don't want to just repeat the same things, but I did want it to be known that I am available for any questions that may come up.

Just to reiterate, Walnut Creek Ford will not be charging a dealer markup on the 2021 Bronco, and will honor x-plan pricing (as long as Ford allows it).

My game plan is to send out a communication to our reservation holders as soon as the build and price goes live, which I am hoping is real soon! Fingers crossed.

I figured (thanks to some guidance by a fellow member, which I appreciate so much) this could be a great place to where any and all questions can be answered transparently.

It is incredibly important to myself, as well as the rest of our Dealership, that this community is taken care of with a reliable resource. I don't have all the answers, but I will make sure to get you accurate information, in a timely manner.

I have had the privilege to speak with many of you either on the phone, or in person, and really appreciate the feedback and support. I am available for you any time. I can be reached at any time via phone at (925)932-2900, or by email at [email protected]. I will also be logging into here throughout the day.
Hello

Have my reservation at Ron DuPratt Ford in Dixon, shoot me a message and I may consider transferring my reservation.

Nice to see a dealer representative on the forum that is 30 min from me!!!!!

Nice seeing some communication from a bay area dealer on these forms. I reserved at sunnyvale because it was closest to mountain view, but was definitely looking to change. Walnut creek was high on my list even though it was further away, and this probably sealed the deal for me.

A great deal is nice, but really a honest deal at msrp is fine by me, just want my Bronco at fair price, can't wait for it.

I do currently have a reservation with WC Ford mainly due to proximity, as well as a res with Granger with the $2k under invoice deal. I haven’t settled yet on where I will end up making my purchase depends on the numbers once B&P drops.

For those of you that don’t know WC is a high rent area and WC Ford is not a huge dealership. I would be really surprised if they are able to come to the table and match one of the other below invoice deals. Their overhead has got to be 2-3x that of other dealerships who are making the “big deals”. I would absolutely LOVE it if they did, but I’m not holding my breath.

Let’s see what you can do Shahram!

Seems like all of the CA dealers are reluctant to play ball, even the Serramonte “deal” of $500 over invoice isn’t that spectacular. If you are on this site and don’t at least have X-plan you are a fool.

That being said-
I have bought a few cars from WC ford and one specifically while working with Shahram. I feel like he treated us fairly but at the end of the day he is a salesman, and like he said this is how he feeds his family. I expect some run around at this stage of the game. Does he know more... I’m sure... but I get it, he’s just following marching orders. I’m just sick of Ford teasing us.

Ford dealers have to be hating this reservation model, they rely on the average Tom, Dick or Harry walking onto the lot, being told what is in front of them is the best they can offer, and being taken to the cleaners with ADM (maybe that’s just a CA thing). Dealers aren’t used to the high volume of enthusiasts expecting to walk in and pay below invoice, does not really fit into their their business model.

Shahram,

Welcome to the jungle. I’m reserved with you guys and am glad to see you here. There hasn’t been much of a Bay Area dealer representation. This site has a HUGE wealth of knowledge, and has created very informed buyers, me being one of them.

With that being said, there will definitely be some members that are very abrasive. If you are honest, and answer questions in an honest, non-beat around the bush kind of way, you’ll get the respect that you should get for trying to help IMO.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Walnut Creek Ford, like mentioned already, is not a mega dealership. In this area, there really isn’t room for a huge lot. Now I’ve never bought a vehicle from WC Ford, but my experience with them have been pleasant so far. For example, I went in last week to get eyes on some colors that I knew were on the lot. When the sales guy came to greet me, I let him know what I was doing. He walked with me and was friendly even though he knew I wasn’t in the market for anything but the Bronco. No unwanted pressure, no “salesman” talk. Shahram came out, introduced himself, and we talked about minor details regarding res and pricing. Now I didn’t get a duffle bag, or a mug, but they gave me a good first impression.

Now everyone will have their own thoughts and motives, but I’ll be happy with a deal that makes both sides happy. I understand that this is how their families get fed, but you can’t expect me to take food out of my families mouth either. If I get my Bronco, and am happy(content) with the price, then I’m good.

I am glad to see a bay area dealer on here as well. I have my reservation with Folsom Lake Ford and they reached out a day after my reservation with a phone call. Since then, crickets. Can not even get Nate Shirey to answer the phone or respond back to my texts.

Shahram, prove that you are a man of your word, you are fair and honest, and you could see my reservation transferred to you quite easily. Be very careful how you tread though, else you will feel a wrath that will spill over to other areas of your business that may hurt it outside of just this Bronco group.

So, what say you to the pricing tables you have now been made aware of from above...sarcasm...but call that your education about the level of knowledge this group possesses.

Have to laugh at the timing. Folsom Lake Ford just got back to me. Anyone who might have a reservation at Folsom Lake Ford or may be considering one, they just confirmed that they will not honor any pricing plans. My contact stated MSRP and no ADM.

Time for a reservation move!!!!

Well said @Firefight911 your Rancho Cordova location takes me back, I grew up in Sacramento and then worked for that Rancho Cordova rocket maker at their SoCal location. Now that I'm in Texas I do miss the fishing on the American River, the water skiing on Folsom Lake and the snow skiing in the Sierras.

I will miss the lake.....and not much else. Hahaha! I am planning on leaving this God forsaken state as soon as I retire from my firefighting gig. TN is our number one option at this point. Lots of lakes, fishing, skiing of the water kind, and everything else will be assuredly better as well.

Wow
I have been considering Granger’s October offer. I was hoping Folsom would come through with Xplan or invoice. Will have to check Serramonte if they are doing 500 below MSRP. Assuming $1200 in shipping, Granger is $800 below invoice if you live in NorCal.
