See video below. This happens consistently and exclusively when the doors off and I start the truck. I’ve taken my 4 door OBX into Ford Service 2x for a total of 12 days. The most recent visit, I was told this was actually expected/normal behavior when the doors are removed and I can just ignore it.

I need a sanity check. Is anyone else experiencing this?

My solution is to do a "double Start" I guess...
1. Press START, but without your foot on the brake, so the engine doesn't start.
2. Before starting the engine, or before doing anything, buckle up!!
3. Press START again with foot ON the brake pedal to start engine.

You should not get the messages after doing this method, at least I never did.

Yeah this is a known issue and there's multiple threads out there.

One of the other tips was to make sure to unlock the doors (via the remote) before attempting to start the vehicle.

Even with the doors off, the Bronco still locks the doors (as could be confirmed by the tailgate).

I get it a lot less when I buckle before I start. Still get it though.
