What’s up guys. I was getting a lift done and we noticed these brackets up near the front tires and I’m curious what they are for? They are short and you can remove the bolts and they slide out.

Crash bars. Some Bronco models have them, Sasquatch does not. They are said to add safety from a front tire intruding into the passenger compartment due to a crash.

Anytime you see someone on here say they had to remove crash bars to get 37’s on it or cut them off to install a bumper, that’s what they’re talking about.

Do keep in mind, those are the main structural component stopping the wheel from becoming one with the passenger compartment during a crash -- you're implicitly accepting that risk when removing these crash bars.

except my SAS didn't have them from the factory

Yes, they have to be removed to fit any wheels size 35" or larger, including the Sasquatch package by default. Sasquatch builds crash test differently than non-Sasquatch builds for this reason, like a regular Badlands with 33" tires and crash bars.
