Hey guys and gals I’ve seen a pic or two of rear facing car seats in the back of a 2 door, and was wondering specifically what brands and models you have that for sure fit and if anyone has any recommendations. Seems like we might have a kid before I even get a build date but want to buy accordingly. Thanks in advance

Might want to change your order to a 4 door. I have two kids under 4, no way in hell I would ever mess with a two door kid hauler, ever. You had children..

In my 2dr Wrangler now that they are forward facing I have them in Diono 3RXT. I has my daughter in a Cyber wasn’t ideal rear facing but manageable.

@Jon_chimpo speaks the truth. If it's an occasional-use thing, sure, but if they're going to be in and out of it daily, I would not consider the 2 door.

Sincerely,

Someone who carted two kids around in a two door vehicle before the Bronco. It wasn't fun.

I carted 3 of em around in an FSB with 4” lift and 35’s… extra doors aren’t necessary.

Very little in our lives is necessary. For me it’s about ease, and comfort. We all had kids. The days of cool 2 door coups is gone. Our kids will never know how cool we used to be, accept it. Or get a 2 door, and enjoy the next 8 years of loading/unloading. It’s your back, not mine.

i would have anxiety about putting a kid in a 2 door.

what if you are in a wreck and need to get the kid out?

I love my 2 door but i feel like i would have to sell it for a 4 door if i had a kid

Don’t you dare change to a 4-Dr! Here is what I use and it’s an absolute game changer!
Whoa! Wish they had those when my kids were small. Does it remove from vehicle and snap into a stroller? Ours did and that was the best thing about the backward facing was no chance of waking a sleeping baby to transfer them in/out of vehicles.
