This week I installed a Xomzema tow hitch receiver so that I can add a cargo carrier and/or a bike rack. I don't have a trailer or a need for a trailer, so I have not added a wiring harness to the hitch receiver (yet).

I've seen a few hitch receivers that have required the rear bumper to be removed, which I really didn't want to do, this kit didn't require that at all and really was literally a 5 minute install. Really simple.

I also added a Muslogy Auto 2" hitch receiver cover to finish it off. Some nice added functionality and looks good too - the textured finish looks almost the same as the rear bumper, blends in really nicely. Links to these two products are in the description of the video, if anyone is interested.

So... still on the quest for 50k miles in 1 year!

5 days left.
That’s like the mileage I would have gotten driving from Wisconsin to Kerrville every 6 to 8 weeks for nearly 3 years! I sure miss the food from that area.

Crafted some mounts for my $20 universal mud flaps. $25 for a piece of aluminum angle and some stainless hardware. Just looking at keeping stones off the sides until my sliders get here.

Installed the Apex 12k and RC mount.
All in all not bad, maybe 2-2.5 hours into it, which included fumbling around with the setup some and learning a few β€œthis works and try that next time” things.
Parking sensor fault currently I have to work around (hopefully without having to uninstall the whole apparatus).
Not hooked up yet, as the β€œcontrol pack relocation” wiring they give you isn’t long enough to reach the engine bay.
78” Warn wiring kit coming ($78 online).
More in the works over the next few months:
-RucRak
-SVC perch collars
-Pax mounts
-20lb propane tank mount
-Hammerbuilt reinforcement and accessory arm
-probable camera relocation although I hate it sticking way out there in front.
-37’s
