Having driven a Chevette on a few occasions, yes, I can agree with “Never again!”I once did 78 in a Chevette going down hill. Never again...
When I think about some of the crazy shit we did in my younger years I am amazed that I am still here!Too fast to want to admit. Young and stupid a long time ago.
And to think, our kids are out there doing all that same stuff! When I think about some of the crazy shit we did in my younger years I am amazed that I am still here!
My very first car was a 1980 2 dr Chevette. Silver, 4 speed. I put a Jensen stereo, equalizer and some pioneer speakers in that baby!I once did 78 in a Chevette going down hill. Never again...

Thing that was nice about those is you could ask girls if they wanted a ride in your 'vette. Then the joke was on them. Or. Maybe it was on the both of you.My very first car was a 1980 2 dr Chevette. Silver, 4 speed. I put a Jensen stereo, equalizer and some pioneer speakers in that baby!
Yep! I called her the Silver Bullet! Unfortunately that was her undoing! Had 2 girls in there cruising after school one day, paying attention to the girls and not the road! Rear ended another car!Thing that was nice about those is you could ask girls if they wanted a ride in your 'vette. Then the joke was on them. Or. Maybe it was on the both of you.
