Now that Ford saved the day with 100-200 more GVWR, I actually have more options. In between OBX sas 2.7 lux w. no steel parts / BL 2.7 lux / OBX 2.7 4.27 gearing + auto 4wd + 33s.

Test driving an F150 and Raptor this weekend, but I really want to get an OBX sas, but need to make sure its not too overwhelming. I like the idea that everything comes from the factory, and the 35s are C load, and I get to keep my desired interior/exterior bits (compared to the BL)

There's been a HUGE sigh of relief with all the news that came out yesterday with deliveries starting in June, extra payload, etc. I really think Ford redeemed themselves with all of this. I am less focused on the added costs of the build options, and more focused on identifying the right build for my wants/needs.

If my wallet can take it:

Badlands 2dr, Antimatter Blue
Headliner
Optional wheels
10spd automatic (I'd prefer the manual, but I'm married) ;)

If I can't afford the BL, I'll go for the BD with the same options.

Holding off on accessories until they are fully listed but the main build should be.......

4 door Badlands
Iconic Silver
2.7 Ecoboost - auto
Hard top (modular if I can order it)
Lux package
4.7 gearing
tow Package

*Dropped the sas package because I plan on going with aftermarket wheels & 35s.
Not sure if you noticed but the Order guide released yesterday states that if you get Badlands without Sasquatch, you won't be able to get 4.7 gearing, even though B&P allows it. I think there will be a lot of disappointed people that wanted to do aftermarket wheels and 35s.

I've been all over the place for months. I've obsessively debated 2dr vs 4dr, Black Diamond vs Badlands, Area 51 vs Cactus Gray, Standard package vs Mid package, etc. I have Trello boards, google sheets, folders full of pics and screenshots, chicken scratch on post-its...

The other night my wife said, "Just get the four door badlands mid-package. If you do anything less, you'll regret it."

So, I think that's that.

4-Door Badlands | Cactus Gray | 2.3 7MT
+ Mid Package & Hard Top

That's it.

OK..up until reading a thread on another forum regarding off-roading and camping etc..I was set on a 4-dr BD non-squatch...but now I am rethinking..although I will be a newbie to off-roading many in the other forum talk about the better "hardware" that comes with the Badlands...the shocks, etc. i guess...but I was not aware of that level of detail being available..anyways...now I am thinking of a 4-dr Badlands..2.7L, non-squatch...am I thinking wrong..of course I also like the look better was not going to pay for the looks alone

I am no longer bound by their ratio silliness so base 2.7 for me and those 3.73 gears and 190 front diff won't be hanging around long

Bonus is , a lift and larger tires first then get a better feel for the correct ratio and my lockers are going to be switched on/ off by my choice
